New features


This digital library application is currently based on the software DSpace v9.0. In the following we list (new) additions to the basic DSpace software.

15.09.2025

  • server and client updated from DSpace v8.1 to DSpace v9.1

15.05.2025

  • Complete rework of citations support: citation information is now collected and stored in the server; item, collection and community pages show a count and list of citations on the bottom of the page; homepage, community and collection pages show a list of top cited papers (and h5 metrics)
  • Top downloads list and popular docs list on homepage now show source and year of document in addition to title

01.04.2025

  • Activated Researcher Profiles - Logged in users can create a researcher profile with attributes like ORCID - we will link this profile to publications later (and then display ORCID in author lists)

12.03.2025

  • collection pages now show prominent link to documents presenting the full issue ("Komplettband")
  • default sorting by page number on collection pages
  • updated/debugged the citation display functionality for items and collections (see bottom of item/collection pages)

  • server and client updated from DSpace v8.0 to DSpace v8.1
  • title now includes dc.title.subtitle if defined
